work
Currently building fundtrail, a payroll and pension remittence infrastructure for
African Employers. I used to ship code at Interswitch where I
built out an Observability platform ontop of Kubernetes and
maintained our Payment API Gateway which powers hundreds of billions of
API requests every single day across our entire customer base. I contributed to the
development of one of the best opensource Container Network Interface on planet earth.
Currently, at MTN, as Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), My role focuses on maintaining
and enhancing the resilience of large-scale systems, optimizing service uptime, and driving
best practices for performance and reliability.
I do have a bit of projects in the open. Most notably, I am a core
maintainer of
mtn-apm-agent.
Technologies
These days my entire life revolves around Go. I
also written a fair bit of PHP and Python in the past.
I might have written an awful ton of Javascript in a previous life.
Okay to be fair, I still write a lot of Javascript - mostly Typescript.
I use Docker to run everything in between local development and
production. If it is worth running in a Kubernetes cluster, I'd
put it in one.
